Some news
Our album Downward Dog came out just over one year ago, and we continue to be astounded by its reach and the kind things that you have said to us about it. Thaaaaaank youuuuuu!
I thought I'd mention a few things:
1. Downward Dog CDs exist! I made a tiny run of CDs, each package and disc was drawn and written on by hand, and they include 3 bonus tracks! Super limited run of 20, with only 10 left. Today is a great day to buy, since it is "Bandcamp day," on which the platform waves their cut of sales. Head to bandcamp and mull over the prospect of a purchase!
(If a vinyl copy is something that would interest you, let me know. If there's enough people, I'll press it!)
2. Next month we head into the studio to start recording LP #2. We’re excited! I’m scared! Just some behind-the-scenes flavour for you.
3. A couple upcoming shows:
June 1 - Toronto ON @ Monarch Tavern - tickets here
June 24 - Calgary AB @ Sled Island - passes here
4. A small thing you may enjoy: I recorded a solo cover of “How Sad, How Lovely” by Connie Converse not long ago, for fun. I haven’t shared this elsewhere, so it’s like our little secret. Hush! Listen to / download it via Soundcloud
Goodbye.
